This time of year is always busy for me, as I hang out in the garage a lot….making wood tombstones to sell. I love creating new designs and definitely, working with any wood project that I might get into! Right now, I am smiling from ear to ear as I create some awesome tombstones that everyone loves. Thanks so much, if you have purchased one of my handmade designed wood tombstones – – removing the splinters from my fingers is my reward for your happiness!
Here’s me and my good ole Craftsman Evolv Jigsaw hard at work!
This is one of my wood tombstones as I work on cutting out the boogie man’s face in the tombstone. It is not as easy as you may think to do this.
Here are five of my many wood tombstone designs, with varying heights and widths. Each come with a wood stand that gets screwed into the bottom of the tombstone and two eight inch metal spikes to hold the tombstone into the ground. If you know of anyone that would love to purchase one of these, get a hold of me!
Gosh, do you love love love Halloween as much as I do?
Hi Val. I just saw you “like” my recent post. How are you? Are you blogging somewhere else or are you on a hiatus?
Hello Valerie! 🙂
Hey John! How are you? Hope you and Rebekah are doing well!
Hi Val!! Yes we are good, I am home, she is back in the States just now from a Europe trip, part of the job. I am doing good, been hiking in the canyons around the area, just kicked the Diet Coke habit – finally! Hope you and Roy are good. And the girls of course. 🙂
I am guessing you have stopped blogging eh? bummer.
No, I just ran out of media space and can’t upload any photo’s. I need $100 for a blog upgrade to get back to blogging again. It’s a bummer that I can’t just purchase more space instead of a whole upgrade.
Glad you replied Val! I have heard others mention this issue.
Lovely of WP to change this, tipping the scale toward them of course. I am still able to purchase space and recently replaced my theme with a purchase theme.
Apparently i am ‘grandfathered’ such that I’m not forced into this situation.
It stinks. It’s a bit of a dirty business move don’t you think?
I so admire your skill with a saw. These look terrific!
Hope all is well. I sent you a request via your contact form.
I totally don’t love Halloween as much as you do, but I enjoy your enjoyment of it, and admire your hard work and enthusiasm!
I don’t know where my fascination about Halloween comes from, perhaps it could be the creativity side that entices me into all of the creepiness of the holiday!
But do you get as into the other holidays?
I do the same with Christmas & VAL-entine’s Day (since this holiday has my name in it! LOL)
Ha. Nice. 🙂 That’s great that you end up giving yourself so much to look forward to throughout the year. And little spots of happiness for your neighbors and passersby as well! Oh, and your blog readers because we get to see the pics! 🙂
Everyone needs happiness, every once in awhile! It does not take much to make me happy…..heck, buy me a new colored Sharpie and I am in my glory!
That’s terrific. Good for you. 🙂 I wish I were more like that! A good piece of chocolate might do the trick!
What an awesome idea my sweet friend. Love all of them – you are so creative! XOXO – Bacon
Aw, thanks! I do love working with wood, and what better way to do so, than make some awesome Halloween tombstones! #awesomesauce
The boogieman tombstone does not look easy to cut out at all! But it’s adorable. Well, as adorable as a boogieman can be….
Love and licks,
Cupcake
It’s not easy, but I found a way to make it “doable”! I’ve gotta drill a big hole in certain parts first to get my jigsaw blade in to start cutting! The mouth is the hardest part to cut out.
