Removing Splinters

This time of year is always busy for me, as I hang out in the garage a lot….making wood tombstones to sell. I love creating new designs and definitely, working with any wood project that I might get into!  Right now, I am smiling from ear to ear as I create some awesome tombstones that everyone loves. Thanks so much, if you have purchased one of my handmade designed wood tombstones – – removing the splinters from my fingers is my reward for your happiness!

Working Hard

Here’s me and my good ole Craftsman Evolv Jigsaw hard at work!

Boogie Tombstone

This is one of my wood tombstones as I work on cutting out the boogie man’s face in the tombstone. It is not as easy as you may think to do this.

Tombstones Made by Val

Here are five of my many wood tombstone designs, with varying heights and widths. Each come with a wood stand that gets screwed into the bottom of the tombstone and two eight inch metal spikes to hold the tombstone into the ground. If you know of anyone that would love to purchase one of these, get a hold of me!

Gosh, do you love love love Halloween as much as I do?

      • Hi Val!! Yes we are good, I am home, she is back in the States just now from a Europe trip, part of the job. I am doing good, been hiking in the canyons around the area, just kicked the Diet Coke habit – finally! Hope you and Roy are good. And the girls of course. 🙂

      • No, I just ran out of media space and can’t upload any photo’s. I need $100 for a blog upgrade to get back to blogging again. It’s a bummer that I can’t just purchase more space instead of a whole upgrade.

      • Glad you replied Val! I have heard others mention this issue.

Lovely of WP to change this, tipping the scale toward them of course. I am still able to purchase space and recently replaced my theme with a purchase theme.

Apparently i am ‘grandfathered’ such that I’m not forced into this situation.

It stinks. It’s a bit of a dirty business move don’t you think?

    • It’s not easy, but I found a way to make it “doable”! I’ve gotta drill a big hole in certain parts first to get my jigsaw blade in to start cutting! The mouth is the hardest part to cut out.
