It has been a really great week here in Cleveland, OH as we have had the best weather you could only dream of for March, and since the weather has been cooperating with temps in the high 70’s to 80’s, Mommy decided to pull out her Evolv Jigsaw and some wood and made some Easter crafts.
First, she had an idea to create some “different” Easter eggs for decoration and bought a bag of those plastic eggs that you would fill with jelly beans for $1.99, and then she picked up a can of Rust-oleum Metallic Gold spray paint. She opened them up and lightly sprayed each egg gold and after they were dry, she placed them in a nice decorative container with some moss. Instant Easter charm for the table!
Next, she took out some wood and cutout two different bunny shapes that she drew by hand and traced them on the wood. Since her Evolv Jigsaw works beautifully and cuts through the wood like butter, she was able to make a stack of these bunnies with ease. She then sanded them and spray painted them with Rust-Oleum Candy Pink. The one bunny design actually stands on its own, so it was a perfect addition to a table top or bookshelf, the bunny face will hang on the front door adorned with a pink bow.
So what do you think of Mommy’s Easter crafts? As you can see, it has been a very crafty week over here and since the creativity has been flowing, Mommy decided to have some fun with some of my photographs too.
I will be heading back outside later to soak up the sun and play with my toys! How will you be spending your weekend? What plans do you have?
Last, but not least, we also want to REMIND everyone to please make a donation to the APL that we are participating in for their annual fundraiser, Pledge For Pets. We need your help to save a life of an animal in need.
